Job Overview Are you a certified educator based in Utah seeking a flexible and fulfilling remote teaching position? Key Responsibilities As a Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to support students throughout their educational journey. This entails: • Providing consistent guidance and accountability on a weekly basis. • Delivering customized learning experiences tailored to individual student needs. • Collaborating with parents to extend support and encouragement via email. • Engaging with learners in various group settings, facilitating both large and small discussions. • Creating and implementing engaging lesson plans and activities. • Mentoring students in specific subjects and offering tutoring assistance as needed. • Identifying students who may need additional support and working with the team to develop intervention strategies. • Collaborating closely with fellow educators to share insights and enhance student success. Required Skills Candidates must demonstrate the following competencies: • A valid teaching certification. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • A strong belief in and commitment to personalized, student-centered learning methodologies. • A friendly, patient disposition complemented by strong organizational skills. • Proficiency in Google applications such as Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets, along with confidence in utilizing various online tools. • The ability to work independently while effectively managing time and meeting deadlines. • Access to a reliable smartphone, high-speed internet connection, computer, and webcam. • Flexibility to commit 15-20 hours per week during core business hours (10 am - 3 pm MT). • Previous experience with non-traditional educational frameworks is advantageous.
