Leadoo Academy is now in a high-growth phase and our office is in Lexington, MA. We are looking for highly motivated, dynamic individuals to join us. Role Description We are seeking a part-time or full-time Academic Tutor with focus in English at Leadoo Academy. This role can be performed on-site or remotely. The Academic Tutor will be responsible for conducting private classes, delivering English education, supporting mathematics learning, and enhancing communication skills through personalized tutoring sessions. How You’ll Perform the Role • Tutor students in 1:1 sessions or small groups, providing subject instruction on a higher level than the grade standard. • Tailor your lesson plans based on students' needs to heighten the trajectory of students’ academic success. • Track and analyze student progress and be open to feedback. • A real passion for the subject you are teaching and a desire to work with students coming from a different cultural backgrounds with diverse identities. • Has strong verbal and written communication skills with students, employees, and parents. Qualifications • Native or high proficiency in spoken and written English. • Majored in English or a related field. • A minimum of bachelor’s degree from a top 15 prestigious US college/university . A transcript and/or copy of the degree from the approved university/college must verify the coursework. • Current MA, PhD, or EdD candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a terminal degree is strongly proffered. • Previous teaching or one-on-one tutoring experience is strongly preferred.
