Coca Cola is hiring for Inventory Control Specialist The primary responsibility of a Inventory Control Specialist at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida involves the effective handling of products and materials within the warehouse while maintaining an accurate record of all transactions. The job requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to... work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. To accomplish these objectives, the Inventory Control Specialist must operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other types of industrial machinery to move materials around the warehouse. Duties & Responsibilities: • Product Handling: Unload incoming products in a timely and efficient manner, taking care to handle them with appropriate equipment. • Order Fulfillment: Ensure that deliveries are complete and accurate during the fulfillment process, utilizing both electric and manual pallet jacks to handle products as required. • Equipment Operation: Handle the operation of heavy-duty industrial power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc., safely and effectively. • Maintenance: Conduct periodical maintenance and sterilization of warehouse equipment and operational spots to guarantee a safe and healthy surrounding. • Restocking: Make sure to keep an adequate amount of products in stock and replenish inventory as per the organization's expectations. • Compliance: To be compliant, safety regulations, company policies, and procedures must be strictly adhered to. Proper handling of products is essential to prevent damage, and adherence to regulatory requirements is a must. • General Duties: Aid with general warehouse duties, including intermittent stooping, crouching, lifting over 50 pounds, and scaling when needed. • Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to step in for absent colleagues and perform different tasks across the warehouse, production, and cooler service areas as needed. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Capability to manage manual and powered pallet jacks and forklifts with ease (certification providing added benefits). • Demonstrating keen attention to specifics and adeptness at carrying out directions. • Adequate aptitude to conduct bodily functions, involving weightlifting, curving, and mounting. • This article explores the basics of warehouse operations and safety practices that are essential for every worker to know. These include proper material handling, loading and unloading equipment operation, and safety regulations to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. • Exhibiting proficiency in collaborating with others and being self-sufficient. Minimum Qualifications: • A GED or high school diploma is preferred. • Aspiring applicants should possess up to one year of general work experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a warehouse setting, production line, or equipment maintenance. • The advantages of obtaining a forklift certification are noteworthy.
