Job Title: Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Job Type: 1099 Contracting Position... Contract Length: 24/25 School Year Company: VocoVision Location: Remote (Kentucky) Position Overview: We are seeking a Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide top-notch instruction and support to students in Kentucky for the upcoming school year. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons, collaborate with school teams, and help students overcome educational challenges related to hearing loss. Responsibilities: • Provide virtual instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, utilizing evidence-based practices and instructional technologies. • Collaborate with students, families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. • Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and adjust instruction as necessary to ensure academic growth. • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed. • Stay current on best practices in deaf education and technology-assisted learning.
