[Remote/WFM] Operations Technician - Part Time

Description: • At Refined Technologies, we believe operating with an eternal purpose fuels excellence. • RTI is the leader in the chemical cleaning segment of the refining industry, providing patented chemistries, processes, and equipment for cleaning and treating units during shutdowns. • The Operations Technician will direct the set-up and support the execution objectives of the Operations Managers on RTI projects. • Directs refinery personnel and contractors on the staging of RTI chemistry. • Safely sets up RTI equipment (places and connects RTI-owned pumps and hoses). • Operate and supervises others operating RTI-owned pumps during the chemical injection. • Leads clean-up efforts after the project and de-mobilizes equipment, per specified procedures. Requirements: • Understanding of refinery piping circuits and PFD drawings of the application (strong mechanical aptitude). • Ability to clearly and confidently communicate plans to refinery contractors (strong communication skills- written and verbal). • Ability to diagnose and solve problems during the actual applications. • Performs work safely in all settings. • Documented mechanical aptitude or formal mechanical education. • Preference is given to those with process knowledge of upgrader, refinery, or petrochemical units. • A valid passport and driver’s license. • TWIC Card Benefits: Apply Job!
