Roles and Duties: • Act in accordance with safety policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy working environment for all staff members. • Engage in safety training workshops that teach workers how to avoid hazardous incidents while working in a fast-paced warehouse atmosphere. • Help ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery by packing, loading, and shipping merchandise to retail stores and guests. • Ensure that the processing of merchandise is accurate and efficient in order to deliver it to our outlets and customers without delay. • Strive to carry out warehouse work quickly and safely, maintaining a productive flow of inventory. • A clean and tidy work area is an essential component of maintaining a professional and competent work image. • Be punctual in reporting to work and complete job duties as directed with accuracy and within the given timeline. • To sustain continuous improvement, it's essential to monitor and measure progress over time. This can involve tracking key metrics related to process improvements and identifying areas for ongoing refinement • Demonstrates a constructive and gracious attitude when working alone or collaborating with others. Requirements: • Capable of carrying and moving merchandise that weigh 35-50 pounds often during a shift. • Can move and transport items weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally during their work shift. • Engage in tasks requiring standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching frequently and consistently in a work setting. • A positive and respectful approach is crucial to succeeding in both solo projects and team efforts. • Adequately knowledgeable in utilizing basic math skills, encompassing counting, addition, and subtraction, with accuracy. • Possessing the ability to accurately interpret and comprehend the information on product labels, tickets, and other documentation. • Minimal direction is needed when using computer systems and handheld devices once one has received proper training. • Being a strong communicator can improve teamwork, collaboration, and overall productivity in any work environment • Safe and efficient work practices require a competent understanding of safety policies and instructions, which necessitates a certain level of proficiency in reading, speaking, and comprehending English. Additional Requirements: • Adroit at operating all powered equipment safely while complying with safety procedures, including but not limited to Scissor Lift, Pallet Rider, Sit Down & Standup Forklift, and capable of working at heights of up to 40ft. • Accomplish work responsibilities on a mezzanine level, which may be elevated to a maximum of 40 ft, where appropriate • Competent at performing work functions while operating in different temperature conditions, particularly within refrigeration and freezing units, over the course of a work shift.
