About the position The Social Media Marketing Strategy Intern at Disney Consumer Products will support the marketing team by creating innovative social media content and strategies. This role involves ideation, content creation, and community engagement across various social platforms, specifically targeting Disney's consumer products. The internship provides an opportunity to work closely with marketing professionals and gain hands-on experience in social media marketing within a globally recognized brand. Responsibilities  Ideate content concepts for Disney products on social platforms and analyze performance. ,  Capture and edit content, producing multiple deliverables weekly. ,  Build a community for social platform handles, engaging with content and connecting with followers. ,  Provide generational knowledge into Gen Z trends and ways of thinking. ,  Participate in developing social media plans/calendars. ,  Develop influencer lists for gifting opportunities tied to products. Requirements  Actively engaged on a wide array of social media platforms with knowledge of content formats, functionality, and the latest trends. ,  Experience in content creation. ,  Ability to improve social content formats creatively. ,  Partnership and relationship skills. ,  Experience with TikTok as a user and creator. ,  Creatively minded with the ability to inspire creative teams. Nice-to-haves  Experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop & Illustrator. ,  Previous experience with social marketing entertainment brands or experiences. ,  Previous work experience in marketing strategy, consumer packaged goods, advertising agency, and/or brand management.
