What will you be doing?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative writer and copyeditor to join our dynamic team. This role calls for a skilled writer and editor who can ensure impeccable quality while crafting compelling content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with target audiences. The ideal candidate will bring a meticulous eye for detail, the ability to convey complex information clearly, and a strong understanding of data-driven content, industry trends, and emerging technologies, including AI tools. Job Responsibilities

Content Development:

• Collaborate with writers, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to craft engaging, insightful, and audience-relevant content.
• Contribute to content creation, developing data-driven blogs, whitepapers, articles, e-books, and social media posts.
• Adapt content for various platforms while maintaining consistency in voice and messaging.

Editorial Excellence:

• Edit and proofread a diverse range of materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Apply advanced editing techniques to refine grammar, tone, style, and structure for maximum impact.
• Conduct fact-checking to maintain content accuracy and uphold data integrity.

Content Optimization:

• Enhance content for readability, engagement, and SEO performance.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to refine content strategy and improve discoverability.

Innovation and Best Practices:

• Stay updated on editorial trends, emerging technologies, and AI-driven tools to enhance editorial workflows and outputs.
• Implement AI-augmented editing processes, driving efficiency and maintaining high editorial standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional editing and writing experience, ideally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Exceptional command of grammar, style, and tone, with experience adapting to various editorial guidelines (e.g., AP, Chicago).
• Proven ability to condense complex information into reader-friendly, engaging content.
• Strong familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization practices.
• Experience collaborating across teams and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of data analytics and how to translate insights into actionable content strategies.
• Comfort with AI technologies and tools that enhance editorial practices and content output.
• Unwavering attention to detail and a methodical approach to proofreading.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 to $125,000.00.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
