Senior Data Analyst - Revenue

We're on the hunt for an experienced senior data analyst who can tackle some of our most significant challenges in the realm of analytics for Marketing, Sales, and Account Management teams. These functions are responsible for key aspects of Dandy’s business, obsessing about the customer experience. This role will support them to grow customer acquisition domestically while expanding internationally, increase recurring revenue with existing customers, and improve customer retention. In this highly cross-functional role, you will work autonomously to leverage data analysis to make recommendations that make Dandy a more compelling service for our customers.

Your responsibilities/opportunities

• Utilize your data super powers to reduce ambiguity and solve problems

• Develop and share insights that drive the business to better serve, acquire, and retain customers

• Define the data language (i.e. KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc) to ensure your team grasps the underlying truth that drives progress and success

• Facilitate rapid decision making through ad hoc work or by democratizing data/self service (effective BI or user-friendly explores in Looker in partnership with our data engineers)

• Design and execute effective A/B experiments that identify ways to improve outcomes

• Be a strategic thought partner with cross-functional stakeholders

• Mentor other analysts and help them grow

About you:

• 4+ years of experience working in revenue, retention, or customer life cycle analytics, ideally in a B2B setting

• BA/BS in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering with customer empathy or a BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with statistics skills

• Excellent SQL & Python skills

• Strong communication skills and experience communicating results in a way that drives change. You have the ability to use data to inform, align, and lead

• Strong senses of autonomy and ownership

• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and statistical skills

• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver value is cross functional setting

Bonus points:

• Experience working with a B2B sales pipeline and revenue data at a company like Shopify, Amazon, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, or the like.

• Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists

• Have experience turning vague business problems into statistical rigorous analyses & solutions (e.g. causal inference, predictive modeling)

• Interest in working and learning in an earlier stage company where we’re still working out some of the basics

• Experience in Looker, Hex, and dbt
