Position Description & Requirements POSITION SUMMARY:Radiology Partners is hiring a License Specialist. The position will report to the Manager, Licensing and will be focusing on processing, monitoring and renewing licenses across our nationwide practice. - Complete and track provider licensing and credentialing applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state guidelines.
- Monitor license and certification statuses, coordinate renewals, and address any issues with providers, hospitals, and leadership.
- Maintain accurate provider data in credentialing systems and uphold confidentiality of licensing files.
- Assist radiologists through licensing processes and manage special projects or miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Ensure timely completion of DEA/CDS renewals and submission of supporting documentation (e.g., FSMB, FCVS, AMA profiles).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in licensing processes and healthcare industry knowledge (experience with 5+ US states preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and credentialing software; skilled in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently, research and analyze data, and build effective relationships with providers, staff, and external contacts.
- Knowledge of credentialing processes, state and federal board websites, and familiarity with industry-specific software is a plus.
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred.
