In this fully remote position, you’ll report to our Little Rock, AR branch and manage medical-only workers’ compensation claims for a variety of accounts and industries across the Arkansas jurisdiction. Responsibilities
- Manage medical-only workers’ compensation claims from initial setup to resolution
- File state forms and issue appropriate benefits per statutory requirements
- Review and approve related medical bills and invoices
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation in claim notes
- Support the broader claim team by assisting with assigned tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with client handling instructions and CCMSI Best Practices
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in workers’ compensation or insurance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with reliable follow-through in a remote environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Adjusters license is required or the ability to obtain within first 60 days of employment.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Arkansas workers’ compensation laws
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Prior experience supporting multiple clients or jurisdictions
Performance Metrics
- Annual performance review
- Timely and accurate claims handling
- Adherence to client instructions and regulatory requirements
