Sr. IT Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sr. IT Project Manager will lead and deliver enterprise-level IT programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals. Reporting to the Director of IT, this role will oversee project scope, planning, execution, delivery, and governance across remote teams, ensuring adherence to CannonDesign’s standards and methodologies.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead full lifecycle IT projects (onboarding, ERP implementation, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration, office moves, M&A, etc.).
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage risks/issues to successful outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders (IT leadership, business units, external vendors) onitor project performance metrics; ensure quality and alignment with corporate frameworks.
- Mentor and manage project team members, providing coaching and performance guidance.
- Implement and keep current CannonDesign’s project governance, standards, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct vendor selection, contract review, and management when applicable.
- Drive continuous improvement in IT delivery processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Experience: 10+ years managing IT infrastructure/software projects, 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum are strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems, cloud services, network/infrastructure projects, and enterprise software environments.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional and remote teams.
- Communication: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills.
- Travel: Occasional travel as required (client sites, team summits).
