Bookkeeper with Administrative Support - Xero (ZR_25215_JOB)
This is a remote position.
Schedule:- Part-time (20 hours/week, initially)
- Flexible working hours with London time zone preference - Mondays to Fridays
- Client time zone: London
- Reconcile and match invoices within the Xero accounting system to ensure accurate financial records
- Process and categorise diverse transaction types including PDQ machine payments and direct patient invoicing
- Tackle and organize a backlog of financial records spanning several months to bring accounts current
- Maintain ongoing monthly bookkeeping operations and financial record accuracy
- Support administrative functions including Google Drive organization and digital file management
- Provide financial reminders and assist with finance-related communications
Requirements
- Proven experience with Xero accounting software (strongly preferred over QuickBooks)
- Solid bookkeeping background with UK-based business experience is preferred
- Healthcare or dental practice experience highly valued
- Expertise in payment processing reconciliation, particularly card machine/PDQ transactions
- Exceptional attention to detail for precise invoice matching and transaction categorization
- Strong administrative and organizational capabilities
- Excellent written communication skills for professional client interactions
- Self-motivated with strong time management abilities to work independently
- Flexibility to handle both intensive project work and routine maintenance tasks
