Lead Engineer (Python)

Requirements

• Design, build, test, and ship customer-facing features products using a modern web-app engineering stack. Our teams use Python (Django), PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, data engineering tooling, Kafka and AWS.
• Participate in engineering discussions, technical evaluations, design reviews and retrospectives.
• Provide database schema, API designs and micro-service implementations.
• Mentor team members and peer review code.
• Focus on best practices for engineering processes and code quality

Desired Skills Experience

• Proficient in Python programming.
• Experience with Neo4j for graph database management and querying.
• Familiarity with Postgres and Clickhouse for database management and optimization.
• Experience of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of serverless architecture for building and deploying applications.
• Experience with with SaaS (Software as a Service) /product development.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Bonus points if you have...

• Experience in AWS ECS, EKS.
• Familiarity with any open-source vulnerability/secret scanning tool.
