Sr. Associate, Consumer Marketing, Ophthalmology - Rare Disease (Remote)

About the position In this vital role as a Senior Associate in Consumer Marketing for Ophthalmology at Amgen, you will be primarily responsible for developing and driving consumer marketing campaigns and programs that support the Consumer Marketing Team. Your work will focus on understanding Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) and the unique characteristics of TED patients, including their behaviors, drivers, and barriers. You will partner with the Consumer Marketing team to manage both internal and external partners, ensuring that day-to-day program optimizations of branded and unbranded tactics align with strategic goals. You will manage the Nurse Advocate program, which includes updating the FAQ document and script, as well as overseeing the Peer-To-Peer engagement program and its promotional support tactics. Additionally, you will assist in the management of monthly patient webinars, facilitating these webinars and managing the corresponding promotional support tactics. Your role will also involve assisting the manager in developing patient testimonial videos and maintaining resource videos on the brand website. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of brand and DSE campaign branding, forming strong partnerships with cross-functional business partners, including Brand Communications, Advocacy, Patient Engagement, and HCP Marketing. Collaboration with Medical, Regulatory, and Legal reviewers will be essential to ensure that all marketing tactics are aligned with Amgen's standards. You will support marketing analytics, insights, and optimizations for consumer tactics while staying informed about changing category trends to communicate opportunities and insights effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) and the unique characteristics of TED patients and their behaviors, drivers, and barriers.

  • Partner with the Consumer Marketing team to manage internal and external partners on day-to-day program optimization of branded and unbranded tactics, ensuring they drive toward strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree

,

  • OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant work experience driving across consumer and/or digital channels to positively drive customer engagement experience

,

  • OR Associate's degree and 6 years of relevant work experience driving across consumer and/or digital channels to positively drive customer engagement experience

,

  • OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of relevant work experience driving across consumer and/or digital channels to positively drive customer engagement experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior marketing and/or agency experience in healthcare.

  • Knowledge of data analysis and ability to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions.

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and the impact on consumer marketing strategies.

  • Knowledge of medical/legal/regulatory submissions and review process.

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and resources concurrently on time and on budget.
