THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Lead Data Scientist oversees a group dedicated to novel projects and pure innovation - from gaming to augmented reality. They relish the challenge of a blank page problem, working with previously unexplored data sources, and building out solutions that haven’t been designed yet. Comfortable with varied fields spanning weakly supervised learning, NLP, Computer Vision and more, they are comfortable with picking up new approaches as needed. They write modular and extensible code and rapidly experiment with new ideas. In this role you will architect advanced models and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful data-driven solutions that support business objectives. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Set the strategic direction for data science projects in alignment with business goals
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, innovation and continuous learning
  • Mentor a dynamic team of data scientists.
  • Design, map out, and implement ML solutions to business problems.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and complex problem-solving using structured and unstructured data.
  • Monitor model performance and ensure scalable, reliable solutions
  • Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, finance and executive teams to define data needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Translate complex analytical findings to into clear, business-focused insights and recommendations
  • Present results to senior stakeholders and influence data-driven decisions
  • Provide guidance on data science best practices.
  • Engage with business partners to hash out project needs.
  • Advise on emerging areas of technology and AI.
  • Contribute to the architecture of data pipelines and MLOps practices for robust deployment

ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Masters / PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or other quantitative field.
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience working in data science, machine learning or AI with demonstrated exceptional performance and career progression.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to understand business goals and communicate solutions that meet the business objectives.
  • Production-quality OoP (Python, C++, etc), proficiency in relevant frameworks (scikit learn, TensorFlow, etc).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS).
  • Hands-on experience building ML solutions from inception to launch.
  • Strong understanding of statistics, machine learning, and optimization techniques
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills
  • A passion for broadening your technical skills and diving into unknown problems.
  • Travel may be required (team collaboration / conferences / vendor meetings).

#LI - ML1 #LI - Remote The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $170,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
