Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - CI/CD Specialist (Remote)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in CI/CD to join our team. As a Senior SRE, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, low-maintenance, and zero-downtime platforms and applications. You will be responsible for driving our insurance business transformation, co-creating a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of protection and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient distributed systems
• Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality across the organization
• Define, create, and support reusable application components and patterns
• Mentor other engineers and share best practices to improve processes within and across teams
• Utilize developer tooling and Azure services to perform advanced-level Java application design, implementation, and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD and feature-flag code management procedures
• Ensure reliable deployments by working with automated testing, monitoring, and infrastructure teams
• Support continuous integration and delivery models by streamlining code changes and automating software build and package migration processes

Requirements:

• Advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or C#)
• Proven understanding of microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
• Experience building architecture and design for new and current systems
• Advanced understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud architecture
• Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
• Hands-on configuration skills with code management, work item, and continuous integration tools
