As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between students, teachers, and staff, and contributing to a inclusive and supportive learning environment.

About the Role: As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will be responsible for interpreting oral communication into sign language and signed communication into spoken English, conveying messages clearly and accurately according to the receptive language level of the student. You will work collaboratively with the student's educational team, participate in IEP meetings, and adhere to confidentiality requirements. You will also prepare for interpreting assignments, tutor students under the supervision of licensed educators, and assist in communication throughout the school day.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have completed a 2-year Interpreter Training Program or be enrolled in an ITP program.
