Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team at Kiddie Academy of St. Louis, a NAEYC accredited early learning center. As a Preschool Teacher for 2 and 3 year olds, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and interactive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans, including multiple backup plans, to ensure children are constantly engaged in learning
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, lead teachers, and coworkers
• Attend and participate in monthly team meetings, Academy events, training, and other meetings as requested
• Understand and support the KA mission and vision through positive professionalism, building the Kiddie Academy brand and organizational culture

Requirements:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate, Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience in early childcare education preferred
• 1 year or more experience in early childcare education required
• High school diploma required
• Strong communication, patience, empathy, creativity, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds on a consistent basis
