Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Specialist (RC) to join our team in providing exceptional support to students with communication disorders. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the development of communication, language, oral motor, and auditory skills in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech evaluations and design individualized therapy programs for students eligible for Speech/Language services
• Provide group or individual therapy sessions to promote Speech/Language development
• Collaborate with staff to integrate Speech/Language development into the classroom
• Function as case manager for students eligible for Speech services only
• Schedule and conduct IEP meetings for students eligible for Speech only services
• Maintain confidential records on all referred students and provide progress reports in alignment with report card timelines

Requirements:

• New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate as a Speech/Language Specialist
• Ability to work in a remote setting and collaborate with team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
