Job Overview: As an English Language Arts and Math Tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction and support to 1st and 2nd grade elementary students in a remote setting. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement tailored lesson plans that meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in English Language Arts and Math
• Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and learning styles of each student
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and our office team to ensure seamless delivery of services
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular session reports
• Collaborate with our team to ensure the highest level of service and support for our students and families

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, preferably in a tutoring or teaching role
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia
• Familiarity with the Heggerty Teaching Method (https://heggerty.org/curriculum/)
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively
• Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to a computer, internet, and smartphone
