Job Overview

We have two exciting opportunities available:

• Virtual Service Provider/Case Manager (Grades K-6): Focus on resource room assistance and provide essential support to students with special needs.
• Virtual Special Education Teacher: Deliver individualized educational services and provide behavior support to students in a virtual resource room setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized educational services within a virtual resource room setting, utilizing effective behavior support strategies to foster a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and support personnel to create and assess individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
• Design and implement engaging virtual lessons that leverage technology to captivate students and promote academic success.
• Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and ensure compliance with IEP regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Alabama Special Education certification.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working effectively in a remote, technology-driven environment.
• Proficiency in virtual educational tools and platforms is an asset.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in special education, ideally within a virtual format, with a background in supporting elementary and middle school students in resource and/or behavioral support programs.
