Remote Tax Professional - Unlock Your Potential with a Leading Tax Services Company

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Tax Professional to join our team at Workwarp, a renowned company in the tax services industry. As a Remote Tax Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional tax services to our clients, driving business growth, and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support DIY online tax clients through virtual tools, such as video conferencing, phone, chat, and email
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services to meet clients' needs
• Collaborate with leaders and peers to achieve team goals, communicate regularly about your remote work, and contribute to a positive team culture
• Continuously grow your tax expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments

Your Expertise:

• Experience completing individual tax returns and working in a fast-paced environment
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet and proficiency in technology, including MS Teams and Outlook
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in clients and communicate complex tax situations concisely
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience utilizing effective customer service techniques
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent, and high school diploma/equivalent or higher
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week during peak tax season and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements

Nice to Have:

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex tax returns and conducting virtual tax interviews
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Tax planning and audit support experience, as well as sales and/or marketing experience
