Remote Pharmacy Technician - CPhT/CMS/Medicare Part D Specialist

Join our team as a Remote Pharmacy Technician - CPhT/CMS/Medicare Part D Specialist and be part of a dynamic and growing organization. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to work in a remote contact center, providing exceptional support to healthcare payer Medicare Part D members and providers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with a competitive salary of $23.00 per hour, plus 5 PTO days, and the possibility of extension beyond April 2015.

This role requires a strong foundation in pharmacy operations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Remote Pharmacy Technician - CPhT/CMS/Medicare Part D Specialist, you will be responsible for handling prior authorization requests, responding to member inquiries, and providing support to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on the pharmacy help desk, handling prior authorization requests from doctors' offices via fax, mail, email, phone, and electronic PA system
• Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit
• Work from home in a private and quiet workspace, with the ability to work 8.5 hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 9pm

Requirements:

• Retail Pharmacy experience - at least 2 years
• Good computer skills (Typing, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
• Willingness to accept change and adapt to new situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Call center experience
• CMS knowledge
• CPhT certification (Certified Pharmacy Tech licensed)

Education and Certifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 2 years of college preferred
