Key Responsibilities:

• Determine patient eligibility for state, federal, or county programs, ensuring access to essential healthcare services
• Maintain a high-volume case load while upholding productivity standards and delivering exceptional customer service
• Develop and nurture professional relationships with hospital staff, patients, and state workers to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of documents, adhering to organizational standards, policies, and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families
• Demonstrated problem-solving and case management skills, with proficiency in technology such as phone systems, computers, and Microsoft software applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Texas Medicaid Enrollment Experience, with knowledge of Medicaid, Social Security Administration, and County Social Service programs (preferred)
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply
