Job Summary:

We're looking for an exceptional engineer to develop, debug, and install software programs quickly, with a focus on frameworks that empower hundreds of Tesla developers to build code more efficiently. You'll be working on high-availability tools, services, and computational clusters, and will have a significant impact on our Over-the-Air updates and global product launches.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frameworks that accelerate Tesla's launch workflow and empower developers to build code more efficiently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive decisions based on data and feedback from the organization
• Work on high-availability tools, services, and computational clusters to support Tesla's global operations
• Contribute to the development of Tesla's software infrastructure, with a focus on code hygiene, reuse, and maintainability

Requirements:

• Excellent Python coding skills
• Strong Linux knowledge
• Experience with build tools such as Bazel, Buck, Pants, SCons, QMake, CMake, Make, or Ninja
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
