We are seeking passionate and experienced online teachers to join our team at CICI English, a leading online learning academy providing high-quality Academic English instruction to Chinese elementary students. As an online middle/elementary school teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of our students, while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of working from home.

Job Overview:

• Start Date: Immediate openings available
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($20-$30/hour) with opportunities for bonuses (up to $10/hour)
• Location: Remote (work from the comfort of your own home)
• Position: Online Middle/Elementary School Teacher (part-time, contract)

Responsibilities:

• Teach students using provided lesson plans, creating an engaging and immersive American classroom experience
• Manage small class sizes (5 students per teacher) and conduct classes ranging from 25 minutes to 1 hour
• Utilize online teaching platforms, including Google Drive, Slides, and Zoom, to deliver high-quality instruction
• Set your own schedule, with availability to teach during Chinese hours (typically 3-5 AM PST, M-F, and 5-8 PM Saturday and Sunday)
• Participate in incentives and commission programs for retaining students and recruiting new students

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• US classroom teaching experience and online teaching experience
• Availability to teach during Chinese hours and adapt to an online learning environment
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Drive, Slides, and Zoom
• Reliable computer with high-speed internet and video capability
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to think on your feet

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current teaching credentials (Multiple Subject Teaching, Single Subject Teaching, or TESL/TEOSL)
• Master's degree in Education or related field
