We are seeking a skilled and passionate Math Teacher to fill a long-term substitute position in Minnesota. As a Math Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, while also developing your own skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate and collaborate with professional staff to determine and coordinate standardized curriculum and testing/assessment designs
• Create, formulate, develop, and implement instructional objectives and activities
• Conduct classroom instruction, individual tutoring, and counseling based on teacher-created lesson plans and instructional units
• Assess student performance, provide feedback, and adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Build credibility with staff, students, parents, and the community by demonstrating professional competency and relating to people from all backgrounds

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Skilled at learning strategies, active listening, and social perceptiveness
• Knowledge of instructional methods, training techniques, and curriculum design principles
• Strong understanding of mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to learn and adapt to new situations
