Stride, a pioneering education company, is seeking a visionary Head of Business Development to drive the growth of Stride Tutoring, our innovative educational marketplace. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and developing a vibrant pipeline of B2B customers and strategic partnerships, enabling us to achieve our mission of providing personalized learning experiences to students across the USA.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned business development professional with a passion for education and a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of our B2B sales strategy and pipeline, with a focus on large school districts and education/edtech companies
  • Building and managing a team of Account Executives to achieve sales objectives and expand our distribution channels
  • Identifying and executing strategic nationwide partnerships to broaden our reach and drive market share
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cohesive sales and marketing strategies
  • Providing direction and guidance to the Account Executive team, using data to inform action plans and drive results

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise and passion, we offer a competitive salary range of $155,388.00 to $265,303.00, eligibility for bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA, with occasional travel required (up to 30%).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development or a related field, with a focus on education or edtech
  • A learner's mindset, with a dependence on data to drive actions and decisions
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strategic partnerships, with a strong network of contacts in the education sector
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience of managing and motivating high-performing teams
  • A strong analytical mindset, with experience of using data to inform sales and marketing strategies
