Job Title: Operations Manager Trainee - Coach (Rockford, IL)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager Trainee - Coach to join our team in Rockford, IL. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing high-performing teams, driving financial performance and sales growth, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, and providing feedback and coaching to improve performance
• Drive financial performance and sales growth by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals
• Provide exceptional customer service by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs are successfully resolved
• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring, and providing recognition and opportunities for growth and development
• Coordinate and complete job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• 2 years of college or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports
