Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 6th Grade Math Teacher to join our team at Ingham Intermediate School District in Lansing, MI. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our future generations and helping them achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging math lessons to 6th-grade students, promoting a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
• Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special needs
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to ensure all students meet their full potential
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education and enhance teaching skills

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary range: $43,478 - $84,540 per year, as per the WEA Master Agreement

Requirements:

• Michigan K-8 Teacher Certificate with Mathematics Endorsement (EX) required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Ability to work well with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills
