Medical Director - National Accounts (Remote)

Job Summary:

CVS Health, a leading national health care company, is seeking an experienced Medical Director to oversee medical policy implementation and provide clinical expertise for our national accounts. As a Medical Director, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs to address member needs across the continuum of care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for medical policy implementation and medical management programs
• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs
• Support Medical Management staff to ensure timely and consistent responses to members and providers
• Oversee utilization review/quality assurance and direct case management
• Provide clinical expertise and business direction to support medical management programs
• Act as lead business and clinical liaison to network providers and facilities

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in health care delivery system (e.g., clinical practice and health care industry)
• Active and current state medical license without encumbrances
• M.D. or D.O., Board Certification in a recognized specialty

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health plan/payor experience
• Electronic medical systems/record experience
• Managed Care experience
