Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Field Services Manager to join our Mobile Robots Engineering team. As a Field Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Field Service Engineers, leading and coordinating engineering campaigns for field upgrades, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. You will also collaborate with engineering design teams to develop and refine system architectures and act as a primary technical liaison between stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Field Service Engineers and provide technical guidance and leadership
  • Lead and coordinate engineering campaigns for field upgrades, focusing on hardware and software enhancements
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, including setting milestones and defining requirements for advanced tools and instrumentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in real-time, utilizing expertise in mechatronics, embedded systems, and sensor integration
  • Collaborate with engineering design teams to develop and refine system architectures
  • Act as a primary technical liaison between stakeholders, including senior leadership, R&D teams, and external partners

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Field Service, with a focus on robotic, automotive, or electromechanical systems
  • Prior experience as a people manager, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a field service or technical support environment
  • Proven hands-on experience in designing and troubleshooting complex robotic/electromechanical systems
  • Experience with drivetrain systems, batteries, PCBAs, and other electromechanical components
  • Ability to travel up to 100% for team oversight and customer site visits
