Littera Education is seeking qualified and enthusiastic tutors to join our virtual tutor pool for the Fall 2023 season. As a Virtual English/Reading K-6 Tutor, you will provide high-quality tutoring to students in grades K-6 using our provided lesson content. This is a unique opportunity to work with students in a virtual setting, develop your teaching skills, and earn a competitive salary.

About the Role

• Tutoring sessions take place Monday to Friday between 8am ET and 9pm ET
• Commit to consistent availability on the same days and at the same times from week to week
• Session series may range from 6 weeks to the full school year
• Tutors may be assigned to multiple session series and conduct daily sessions

Requirements

• Relevant experience working with school-age learners
• Relatively consistent ongoing calendar availability
• Ability to effectively instruct and engage students with clear communication
• High comfort level with online virtual tools and technology
• Desktop or laptop with Chrome browser, video camera, and reliable internet connection
• Bachelor's degree preferred; college students with 1+ years of experience welcome to apply

What We Offer

• $18 per hour
• Optional: $22 per hour for Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry tutoring sessions with successful completion of an Algebra I assessment
