We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as part-time Tutors (Clinicians) at our Learning Center in Elmhurst, IL. As a Clinician, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students of all ages, helping them to reach their full potential in reading and comprehension.

About the Role

• Prior teaching experience is not required, as we provide comprehensive paid training in our programs
• Part-time positions available, with schedules generally less than 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Instruction takes place at our Elmhurst, IL Learning Center (not a remote position)
• Required hours during paid training: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, for two weeks

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about helping others reach their potential
• Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to type notes about student performance
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree also acceptable

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction, in-person, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership
• Facilitate the use of our curriculum for Lindamood-Bell Academy students
• Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment
• Manage client records electronically using a computer
