Job Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy, providing exceptional support to patients and addressing their concerns
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude in all patient interactions, ensuring an outstanding experience for every individual
  • Register new patients into our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring seamless and efficient onboarding
  • Book, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments, coordinating with our clinical teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Input and update patient insurance information, transferring calls to appropriate staff when necessary to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in customer service and communication
  • Exceptional phone and listening skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and personalized support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to provide training and support to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Reliability and punctuality for scheduled work shifts, with a strong commitment to accountability and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare-related customer service role, with a deep understanding of the industry and its unique challenges
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize these systems efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a strong focus on building relationships and driving results through collective effort
