We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead our algo evaluation and explainability efforts, driving innovation and excellence in personalization systems. As a key member of our Data Science & Analytics team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust methodologies and models that answer the "why" behind product recommendations.
About the Role:
- Lead algo evaluation and explainability efforts, ensuring trustworthy and high-quality outputs to maximize member experience.
- Develop a comprehensive framework combining online and offline methods to understand the outputs of our recommendations.
- Research and incubate evaluation methods in the product, partnering with Algorithm Engineering teams to drive innovation.
- Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders to shape product strategy and define new metrics.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in building and delivering real-world machine learning models with demonstrated impact.
- Strong interest and experience with LLMs.
- Strong Quantitative Programming skills in a language such as Python.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Passion for driving product vision and innovation strategy.
- Ability to work independently and drive your own projects.
