About the Opportunity

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the quality of our critical platforms, including Apple School Manager and Apple Business Manager. What You'll Do

• Lead the quality assurance efforts for complex software systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly products and services.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and languages.
• Perform thorough exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the team.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Analyze test results and provide clear, concise reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to ensuring code quality.
• Work in a flexible, hybrid remote setting, balancing individual work and team collaboration.

What You'll Bring

• A proven track record of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on complex systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution for a variety of software applications.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, or Swift.
• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong passion for quality and a dedication to delivering outstanding user experiences.
• Solid software architecture fundamentals and a strong understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Bonus Points

• Experience testing cloud-based applications and services.
• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
• Experience with mobile application testing (iOS and/or Android).
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
