Job Responsibilities:

As an Armed Security Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• PATROLLING client premises to observe and report any suspicious activity, public nuisances, or threats to property and personnel.
• RESPONDING to alarms and investigating disturbances in a professional and timely manner.
• MONITORING and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• WRITING prompt, professional, and accurate reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
• PROVIDING superior customer service when dealing directly with the public, and executing client's performance expectations.
• PERFORMING physical activities that require considerable use of legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, standing, stooping, and handling of materials.
• USING relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with law, company regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Have an active Armed Nevada PILB Card.
• Be available to work Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging from 6:30am to 4:30pm, 7:30am to 5:30pm, or 8:30am to 6:30pm.
• Pass a Scope and CANS background check.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed positions.
• Have previous security experience preferred.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for an 8 to 12-hour shift.
• Be able to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have a driver's license (required for driving positions only).
