What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Drive application security training, threat modeling, and security testing initiatives
• Identify and prioritize security practices to reduce overall security risk
• Provide expert application security guidance and oversight across teams
• Offer hands-on remediation guidance to development teams to ensure secure coding practices
• Influence the improvement and streamlining of the existing SDLC to ensure security is integrated throughout

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Proven experience working with development teams to build secure solutions
• Ability to break down complex systems and applications to identify security flaws
• Strong understanding of secure network and system design in AWS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• BA/BS in Computer Science or a closely-related degree
• Experience as an application security architect in an Agile environment
• Experience with various development, debugging, and application security tools

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience in reading, writing, and auditing Java, Elixir, and JavaScript
• Experience working with distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Proactive, organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and persistent approach to security
