Sr Cybersecurity Engineer - Remote Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Sr Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Southwest Airlines. As a key player in our cybersecurity efforts, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Payment Card Industry (PCI) tokenization products, ensuring the security and compliance of our systems. This is a remote, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $24/hour.

As a Sr Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our systems and data from cyber threats. You will provide security guidance to application and partner teams, develop and implement security solutions, and stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices. Responsibilities:

• Provide security guidance to application and partner teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and risks
• Develop and deliver training to clients on the use of key cybersecurity systems and automated tools
• Identify cybersecurity issues, design solutions, and recommend software and systems to meet business requirements
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and advocate for IT security standards and reference architectures
• Collaborate with production testers to identify defects and complete testing
• Stay current with industry trends and develop business cases for changes
• Lead teams to find the best solutions and provide leadership while ideating and testing group think

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience with security-related software, including authentication, authorization, and encryption
• Skilled in Agile methodologies and continuous improvement
• Experience with cloud computing technologies, such as AWS
• Skilled in infrastructure as-code (IaC) development and automated configuration management
• Experience with cybersecurity-specific integration tests and tools, such as Prometheus and ELK Stack
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
