Airline Customer Service Representative - Work From Home
Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Airline Customer Service Representatives. This is a remote position where you will assist airline passengers with inquiries, reservations, flight changes, and general travel concerns. Key Responsibilities
- * Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls, emails, and chat inquiries.
- * Assist customers with flight reservations, cancellations, rebookings, and ticket modifications.
- * Provide information on airline policies, baggage rules, check-in procedures, and flight status updates.
- * Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- * Coordinate with airport and airline staff to ensure smooth operations for passengers.
- * Process refunds, vouchers, and travel credits when necessary.
- * Maintain accurate customer records and follow data protection guidelines.
- * Meet performance targets, including call handling time and customer satisfaction scores.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- * High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree is a plus).
- * Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or airline industry.
- * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- * Proficiency in using computer systems, reservation platforms, and CRM software.
- * Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- * Multilingual candidates are a plus (especially Spanish, French, or Mandarin).
- Experience
- * Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience (airline or travel industry preferred).
- * Previous experience working remotely is an advantage.
- Working Hours
- * Flexible shifts available, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- * Must be available for a minimum of 30 hours per week for part-time roles.
- * Full-time employees work 40 hours per week on rotating shifts.
