Responsibilities
- Support all fittings for product that falls under designated brand.
- Work closely with the design team & technical design director, ensuring the product meets or achieves the desired design intent/fit, make corrections to specifications and follow customer directions to achieve desired fit and aesthetic.
- Maintain and monitor factory counter sampling, tracking of approvals, style testing as needed, final specifications.
- Manage the day-to-day development of product line that adheres to seasonal calendars and sourcing strategy.
- Continually strive to upgrade the product without affecting the value and timeline.
- Track fit sample progress on the weekly fit tracker from vendors ensuring key dates are met.
- Ensure all data is accurately submitted into PLM and responsible for maintaining an up to date and accurate display of all data input.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of technical design experience within apparel industry and/or strong internships
- Able to interpret design intent
- Highly motivated self-starter and collaborative team player
- Strong communication, detail orientation, and follow-through skills
- Proactive problem-solving and resolution oriented
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and PLM system – ideally Centric
