Your role The Daily Duties could include:

• Interns can participate in every aspect of television production:
• From pitching story ideas to developing a show
• Setting up shoots
• Gathering editorial and video materials
• From the scriptwriting process through an edit

Basic duties include:

• Gathering video
• Preparing and organizing interviews for transcription
• Organizing visual elements
• Basic story research
• Fact-checking

Salary & benefits Their internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate-level interns. The annual salary for this role can range from $40,000 - $52,800 per year. Benefits offers may include:

• Candidates should be passionate about current events, entertainment, and/or news
• Applicant must have a strong interest in documentaries
• Must know how to use PowerPoint; Word and Excel
• Self-motivated
• Able to multitask
• Have a good attitude
• Able to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Must be actively enrolled in a U.S.-accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
