Field Services Coordinator – ALS – Fort Collins, CO

ALS provides a diversified line of independent analytical services to a wide range of top-tier customers in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, environmental, and food industries. Our diverse laboratories perform routine and specialty analytical testing for compliance, safety, certification and verification purposes. General Accountability: The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for scheduling all Field Service pick-ups and sampling events for ALS.

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the field Service Manager.
• Schedule all Field Services pick-ups and sampling events for ALS.
• Prepare and submit bottle preps for all Field Services sampling events.
• Enter Field Data for Field Services well sampling and other sampling events.
• Help Field Couriers and Field Services Techs with COC and directions.
• Contact clients to arrange sampling events.
• Assist Field Service Manager with other tasks.
• Check DEP Drinking Water Compliance requirements for Field Services clients.
• Forward new client information, quotes, and sampling events on to Field Service Manager.
• Perform other related tasks to be determined by Field Services Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Laboratory Director.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Able to take ownership for meeting goals and objectives; willing to be accountable for own decisions, and willing to give 100%. Look for new ways to accomplish objectives.
• English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with clients, staff and management.
• Multi-tasked, organized, detail oriented, and possess excellent problem solving capabilities; will have good time management capabilities.
• Must have valid PA Drivers License and be able to drive to various locations for sampling events.
• Must have clean driving record to be able to drive company truck/vehicle.
• Basic knowledgeable of getting from one location to another and read maps or other directional equipment.
• Able to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School education

Physical Requirements:

• Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers, Department team members, management, and clients.
• Able to sit for 100% of an 8 hour day.
• Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate vehicle, computer and other equipment.
• Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate vehicle, office equipment.
