Job Overview Komatsu is currently recruiting for a Welder to work at our Virginia, MN location. This position is represented by a union. What we offer:
- Hourly Wages $27.30- $35.90
- Sign-on Incentive - $2,000.00
- Night Shift Differential - $4.00 per hour will be added to base wage rate for each hours worked.

Responsibilities
- Proficient at Carbon Arc Gouging
- Proficient with Oxy/Fuel Torch
- Understand Weld Symbols
- Certified Rigging
- Proficient at Print Reading
- Proficient at Fitting/Layout
- Must have experience with a variety of SMAW and FCAW welding electrodes.
Qualifications
- Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis.
- Perform a variety of welding and cutting applications (including air arcing).
- Lay out and perform complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality.
- Assess equipment repair needs and developing repair processes.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and perform minor repairs to most assigned tooling; wire feeders and welding machines.
- Work in a diverse team environment.
- Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments.
- Must be able to wear a respirator or fresh air hood when required.
