The Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at OPSWAT. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure on-premises and AWS cloud, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. This role requires expertise in on-premises and AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging solutions. Additionally, experience with Argo, Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, and production support is highly advantageous.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate with a developer team and QA team to develop and operate the product

  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on-premises (supporting Windows, Linux, and High Availability) and in the cloud (AWS, using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, and RDS).

  • Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring scalability and high availability.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery and deployment.

  • Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and configuration management.

  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Coralogix, and ELK Stack.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, implementing solutions to ensure system reliability and uptime.

  • Provide production support and troubleshooting, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for production incident response and resolution if that will be necessary.

What We Need from You

  • Experience (2-4 years) as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud.

  • Experience with the following technologies: C#, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and CMD

  • Experience with software delivery (git, TeamCity)

  • Experience with Kubernetes administration and containerization concepts.

  • Experience in software packaging (MSI/RPM installer)

  • Proficiency with Java/Go and hands-on experience configuring services like Tomcat, Nginx, Redis, and RabbitMQ.

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with related tools

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

  • Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and Coralogix

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.

  • Experience with production support and incident response.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
