Position Description:

A Senior PHP Developer is responsible for creating and implementing an array of Web-based products using PHP and MySQL. Senior PHP Developer develops back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and assist front-end developers by ensuring their work integrates with the applications.

What We’re Looking For:

•5+ years of experience

•Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks

• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP

•Understanding of MVC design patterns

• Experience writing APIs, Git and Linux environment

•Unit testing experience

• Experience in working in the Agile environment and Scrum methodologies
• Ability to independently solve complex problems

• Work on the development and maintenance of complex digital systems and mobile software solutions that offer fully integrated workflow management, ordering and paying for goods and services within a business unit
• Actively participate in the development of the concept of the entire software system with a fundamental understanding of the functioning of the system
• Close cooperation with managers, designers and all other participants in the project
• Work closely with colleagues in charge of testing and quality control, and jointly finds, improves and corrects all possible cases of errors or suboptimal solutions
• Prepare a time estimate for the implementation of certain software functionalities and prioritizes its own tasks in agreement with its manager
• Adopt and enforce the application of standards and code quality defined by the manager
• Submit well-documented and clear periodic reports on their own performance to the management
• Teaching other team members in all relevant areas and ensuring that new team members are timely informed of the environment in which they work and the functionalities of the software

•Documents code in detail

• Works on optimizing the code in terms of using resources
• Performs backend programming in collaboration with other team members, using selected techniques and programming languages
• Works with APIs, databases, writing test cases
• Writes unit tests to ensure the reliability of the software
• Use the code distribution system (Git), in accordance with the frameworks set by the direct manager
• Review and verify with other programmers prior to its release into use in agreement with the direct manager
• Work independently and in cooperation with team members to improve their own knowledge and competencies, and to introduce new technologies that promote development efficiency.
