Job Summary

The SAP Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing data solutions within the SAP ecosystem. This role works with business and technical teams to ensure data is accessible, secure, and reliable, while maintaining enterprise data frameworks, models, and policies. The Data Architect translates business requirements into technical solutions and ensures long-term health and success of the data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive data architectures and governance frameworks based on SAP Data Models
• Develop strategic and tactical roadmaps for SAP digital solution deployments
• Provide solution architecture for specific business requirements and overall enterprise data ecosystem
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models representing enterprise-wide data usage
• Establish policies, standards, and procedures for data quality, security, and access
• Implement and manage Collibra for Data Cataloging (Master, Transaction, Reference data)
• Transform and modernize reporting and planning systems; integrate BusinessAI with high-quality data
• Ensure seamless integration of data from different sources
• Support data migration activities: define architecture, tools, and processes
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of SAP Data & Analytics portfolio (Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, BW)
• Align data platform architectures with SAP RISE, Clean Core principles, and SAP BTP
• Identify improvement opportunities within data management practices

Must Have / Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years professional consulting or equivalent industry experience
• At least 5 years hands-on SAP component configuration experience
• Successfully completed at least three full lifecycle S/4HANA v2019+ implementations
• Experience with rollout and localization of global SAP templates
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
• Experience in A&D / discrete manufacturing (US deployments of SAP S/4HANA with localization)
