Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a team of engineers in best practices, with a focus on Java, cloud-based development, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with architects to define technical roadmaps, provide design and technical leadership, and drive technical standards.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and execute large-scale, highly available applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues, identifying and implementing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
• Work closely with production operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and support of applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience delivering SDLC solutions using ITIL, Agile, or XP methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and cloud-based development (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes).
• Experience with microservices architecture, JavaScript MVC frameworks, and front-end development (e.g., Angular, HTML, CSS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience delivering SDLC solutions using ITIL, Agile, or XP methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, ElasticSearch) and data analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, AzureML).
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts, with experience applying these technologies to real-world problems.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, Azure, Kubernetes).
